QXP Metering Pump

The QXP is an internal gear pump for metering isocyanates, polyols, additives and other fluids. Combined with a variable-speed drive, the QXP is being applied very successfully as a metering pump in the production of polyurethane.
The QXP’s simple and robust design makes this pump light-weight and compact in size without increasing stress on any of the individual parts. The tooth profile, designed with the help of CAE offers a significant reduction in noise levels.
Large sealing areas result in higher efficiencies. The internal gear ring is supported by a hydrodynamic/ hydrostatic lubricating film, which allows operation at low viscosity or low and high speeds. QXP pumps are suitable for use with variable speed drives, where they can provide variable deliveries.
