Universal Tilt Sensor For Mobile and Other Applications, CAN-bus SAE J1939 protocol. 2 versions Of The Micro Electro-mechanical Devices Available Calibrated For Tilt Angles of ±10 degrees or ±90 Degrees.

The UTS, Universal Tilt Sensor, is a dual-axis, MEMS technology tilt sensor for mobile hydraulic applications. It communicates over a CAN-bus using SAE J1939 protocol. Using a Deutsch connector, the UTS is suitable for mobile equipment and focuses on reliability, electromagnetic immunity, and ease of installation. They are engineered with MEMs (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems)  devices for reliability and built to withstand rugged applications.

The sensors are designed using MEMs technology and have a high level of EMI immunity for trouble-free operation. They are built in a single corrosion proof package with no moving components and able to withstand rugged applications. The spin weld design combined with the sealed connector give the sensors IP68 protection for outdoor applications.

These features make the UTS a perfect choice for any application where reliable positioning for a stable, level work platform is desired.

 

Please Note: The older version of Parker UTS Sensor (pn# 151938ecd +/10 Degree UTS) is being phased out. Replaced by 162703ECD.

  • Physically they are identical to the old unit- mounting connector, look, everything.
  • THEY DO NOT HAVE THE SAME J1939 PGN MESSAGES AND ARE NOT  INTERCHANGEABLE FROM A PROGRAM STAND-POINT.
