NRH300 - Plan-Top_web_rgb_442pxIn case you missed Curtiss-Wright’s Industrial divisions launch of their new NRH300DP non-contact rotary position sensor from its brand Penny & Giles.
(as seen OEM Off-Highway)

  • Features 8 mm low-profile sensor body and small footprint
  • Fully encapsulated and IP68/IP69K rated sensor
  • Protected against water, dust, shock, vibration and temperature
  • Well suited for use by OEMs of on- and off-highway vehicles that are used in challenging environments
  • Non-contact sensing technology provides long mechanical life
  • Can be factory set to correspond to rotations of 20-360 degrees in 1-degree increments
  • Industry-standard 38 mm mounting centers enable easy replacement or upgrades
  • On-board diagnostic functions allow two outputs to be put into safe, pre-defined states should an internal sensor error be detected
  • Innovative circuit design allows power to be drawn from regulated 5V supply or a varying voltage – such as a vehicle’s battery – in the range of 9-30V
  • Versatile, factory-programmable electronics can easily be set to one of two analog voltage output ranges (0.5-4.5V or 0.2-4.8V) or one of three PWM frequencies
  • Uses wear-free Hall-effect sensing technology and replaces the NRH280DP for new applications
  • Features number of magnet arrangement options
  • Includes over-molded magnet carrier that simplifies interfacing of magnet and sensor during installation
  • Optional bolt, plug or loose carrier variations are also available
