In many remote work sites, water is a rare and expensive resource that must be conserved. Maintaining precise control over the amount, pattern, and atomization of water and other fluids disbursed in a mine or construction site is critical to achieve a safe, efficient and productive operation.
GS Global Resources (GSGR) greatly improves consistent, cost-effective spraying performance through the use of closed-loop electro-hydraulic controls. A CAN switch panel inputs the operator-selected fluid disbursement rate, which is consistently maintained independent of engine RPM and vehicle ground speed. Multiple pre-programmed operating modes are selectable and adjustments can be made “on the fly”. The multi-function joystick enables the operator to seamlessly activate various spray patterns, select a water cannon function, or de-activate specific spray heads to avoid oncoming traffic. Productivity measurements, engine monitoring and other diagnostic information is displayed for ease of troubleshooting and service.
