110A Series Motor
Compact, Rugged, Low-Speed High Torque (LSHT) Orbital Motor, 59-395 cm³/rev, (3.6-24.1 in³/rev).
The most compact motor of its class, the 110A unique drive train has low internal stresses and long life. Intermittent pressures to 3500 psi, torque to 7200 lb-in. Sideload to 1450 lb. Shaft 1.25-inch nominal.
The Nichols™ 110A Series is a compact, rugged Low-Speed High Torque (LSHT) orbital motor. Thru shafts are available for brakes and encoders. The motor design incorporates a unique solid, one-piece shaft that eliminates the torque link utilized by other orbit type motors. This means greatly reduced internal spline stresses, increasing motor life and the ability to withstand rapid reversals.
Long life is particularly important in industrial applications. This straight shaft can also be extended through the rear cover for mounting brakes, encoders or auxiliary drive functions. Power density is the hallmark of this motor. The most compact motor on the market, it can provide 7200 lb-in of torque in 6.6 inches in length.
