Proximity Sensor for Mobile Hydraulic Applications – Senses Ferrous Objects, Complementing Electronic Control Systems.
The FP3000 belongs to the family of accessories provided to complement the control systems. The FP3000 is a ferrous proximity sensor for mobile hydraulic applications and will sense ferrous objects.
The FP3000 is a ferrous proximity sensor for mobile hydraulic applications and will sense ferrous objects. There are 2 case types to support horizontal or vertical, adjustable mounting. The standard case comes in normally open or normally closed switch versions.
The adjustable mount case is normally open only. The normally open sensors have twelve-inch leads with an attached Deutsch connector. The normally closed sensor has 8-inch flying leads ready for your preferred connector.
Reliability:
The FP3000 has a glass-filled nylon plastic construction for strength and corrosion resistance. The sensor uses non-contact technology, through the use of an internal reed switch, for trouble-free operation. The sensor is very robust and able to withstand rugged applications.
Installation
The FP3000 is well designed for the mobile hydraulics industry. The 2 pin connector is a sealed Deutsch DTM type designed for automotive use. In addition, the potted electronics give the sensor excellent protection for exposed outdoor applications.
There are 2 styles of mounting offered for the NO version sensor. The horizontal mount sensor has a 2 hole mounting flange. The vertical mount sensor has a slotted case for adjustable mounting. The mounting holes are extra large for easy alignment. These features provide for easy installation and removal, even in field conditions.
